Prof. Dr. Volker M. Koch

Volker Koch, Dr. sc. ETH, is a professor of biomedical engineering and co-director of the BME Lab at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. He holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, with a focus on biomedical engineering. He is member of the directorates of the MSc programs in Biomedical Engineering and Precision Engineering, jointly offered by the University of Bern and the Bern University of Applied Sciences. Koch has led numerous R&D projects in biomedical instrumentation and devices, and held leadership positions in professional organizations such as IEEE and the Swiss Society for Biomedical Engineering.
