By Train

From Bern's main station take one of the following regional trains:

• S1 (direction Münsingen-Thun)

• S2 (direction Konolfingen-Langnau)

• S3 (direction Biel/Bienne)

• S4 (direction Burgdorf)

• S44 (direction Burgdorf)

Get off at Wankdorf after just one stop.

Exit the station at platform 5.

Turn left and follow the foot-path along the railway tracks until you reach a parking lot (300m).

Cross the parking lot and turn left into Stauffacherstrasse.

The first building on the left-hand side is the Institute of Surgical Technology and Biomechanics (ISTB) at Stauffacherstrasse 78.

By Car

From all directions (A1, A6) take freeway exit “Wankdorf”.

At the intersection follow signs towards Bern main railway station (Bahnhof).

Drive down Winkelriedstrasse.

Turn right into Stauffacherstrasse.

The Institute is located on the right-hand side after 400m.
