Medical Image Analysis
Detailed Course Description:
The course will start with a reminder of basic segmentation techniques. Then we will focus on more advanced computational methods for medical image segmentation, statistical shape modeling, registration algorithms, automatic detection of structures, filtering etc. We will try to include as many examples from real life as possible to keep things intuitive, but certainly there will also be an important theoretical (mathematical) component.

Type: weekly lab hours with a new assignment every second week. Results must be presented in the lab hours.
Number of assignments: 6-7
Min required assignments: 70% of all points
