Heiner Baur has been working at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland since 2011. He is the head of the movement laboratory at the Health Department, Physiotherapy. He studied Sports Science at the University of Tübingen (D), received his PhD from the University of Freiburg (D) and completed his post-doc studies at the University of Potsdam (D) at the University Outpatient Clinic (Sports Medicine, Sports Orthopaedics).
His main research topics are the neuromuscular control of the lower extremity and gait adaptations elicited by orthotic devices or training interventions.
